Michelle Tarver, MD, PhD

Michelle Tarver is a board-certified ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in uveitis (ocular immunology). Tarver also have a PhD in clinical epidemiology. Prior to FDA, Tarver was an Assistant Professor at Wilmer Eye Institute (Johns Hopkins). At the FDA, she works on patient-reported outcomes, patient engagement, and patient-focused research as well as facilitating agreements to conduct workshops to further regulatory science. Michelle Tarver actively conducts research in ophthalmology.
