Elias Reichel, MD

Dr. Reichel is a founder of Hemera Biosciences, a clinical-stage start-up developing a gene therapy for age-related macular degeneration. He is Professor and Vice Chair and Director of the Vitreoretinal Service at the New England Eye Center in Boston. He serves as a consultant and advisor to biotechnology, pharmaceutical and device companies and has developed laser technologies, devices and drugs for the ophthalmic market.
