Biography
Vivek Srinivasan is Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology and Chancellor’s Fellow at UC Davis. His group develops new light-based technologies for in vivo imaging and sensing of the brain and retina. Starting with a firm grounding in neurophysiology and biomedical engineering, his group employs novel photonic technologies and invents better imaging approaches to accomplish this goal. Prior to UC Davis, he received his PhD from MIT in 2008, and later worked at the Martinos Center at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2008-2012.
