Patrick Mooney

Patrick Mooney is Vice President and Head of the Ophthalmology Franchise at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Patrick is responsible for the overall strategy and growth of the US Pharmaceuticals eye and ear business, which includes key products addressing glaucoma, inflammation and ophthalmic allergy. He was appointed to his position in March 2017, joining Novartis from Galderma Laboratories, where he led sales for the company’s Self Medication business unit. Previously, he was with Alcon for 16 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and operations in the United States and Asia. Patrick’s leadership experience spans the surgical, vision-care and pharmaceuticals spectrum, and includes ophthalmic product launches in the United States and China.
