Biography

Glen Curran is currently the Vice President, Anterior Segment for the Allergan US Eyecare business, being appointed to this role in August 2019. This portfolio responsibility includes the Glaucoma Drops portfolio, RESTASIS® and the commercialization of Allergan’s pipeline Presbyopia product in development. More than 20 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales positions in Australia/New Zealand and EAME regions, specializing in sales and marketing strategy and product lifecycle management across a wide array of therapeutic areas (almost 30 areas). Achieved Bachelor’s in Education (Mathematics and Computing) from Sydney University and both Master of Business (Marketing) and MBA Degrees from University of Technology, Sydney. Glen joined Allergan in 2006 and has enjoyed great success during this time, initially in Senior Marketing roles in Medical Aesthetics, and then Eyecare for the Allergan EAME region based in Marlow, UK. As an Australian native, in 2011 Glen had the opportunity to move to Sydney, to lead the ANZ organization as Vice President & Managing Director, where he created a strong and dynamic business during his 5-year tenure. In 2017, Glen moved back to the UK, where he established Allergan’s Other Europe Region (OEU), providing strategic leadership and direction to over 35 countries as Vice President of the OEU Region. Prior to joining Allergan, Glen also had over 11 years’ experience in Australia with Bayer holding a variety of Sales and Marketing leadership roles of increasing responsibilities across ANZ.
