Biography
Kuldev Singh, Professor of Ophthalmology at Stanford University, received his MD and MPH degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and postdoctoral training at the Casey and Bascom Palmer Eye Institutes. His clinical practice focuses on glaucoma and cataract and his research has resulted in over 300 publications. Dr. Singh has served as President of the American Glaucoma Society and Panel Chair for the AAO Ophthalmic Technology Assessment Committee. He serves on the FDA Advisory Committee on Ophthalmic Devices and the Executive Committee for the UCSF/Stanford Center for Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation(CERSI), an FDA funded initiative supporting research, education, and scientific exchange with foundations and commercial entities in the development of FDA-approved medical products. Dr. Singh has received the AAO Lifetime Achievement Honor Award.
