David Karcher

David began his career in hotel and meeting planning with Western International Hotels in 1971. After ten years, he became the Executive Director of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (Fairfax, Virginia), a position he has held for 31 years.

David was born and raised north of Seattle, WA, and attended Central Washington State University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Economics. He has been married to Anne for 36 years, and they have two children, Carissa and Brett.
