Shannon Spock, MPH

Shannon Spock is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in ophthalmology and eye care. During her tenure at Alcon, she has held research and development positions increasing in responsibility including leadership roles within Clinical R&D as well as a key member of R&D leadership committees. Shannon transitioned her skills and technical knowledge to Alcon Business Development and Licensing (BD&L) as a Head of Search and Evaluation. Shannon contributes to our industry growth and innovation by identifying and evaluating external assets and technology opportunities for partnering, licensing and acquisition. She collaborates closely with individuals and companies throughout the ophthalmology industry as an alliance partner. She has a passion to help patients around the world see more brilliantly.

Shannon earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and Masters degree in Biostatistics from UNT Health Science Center. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering and holds leadership roles in several community organizations.
