Peter Benz is the Head of Strategic Partnering for Eye Health at Boehringer Ingelheim, where he leads efforts to access external innovative solutions for retinal diseases and other ophthalmic conditions. The Eye Health team at Boehringer is dedicated to transforming patient care through science-driven partnerships that bring together the best of pharma and biotech. Recent collaborations with Surrozen, Palatin Technologies, and Re-Vana Therapeutics reflect this commitment to accelerating novel therapeutic concepts and drug delivery technologies. With a Ph.D. in chemistry and biochemistry and a strong background in vascular biology, Peter combines scientific insight with a passion for building partnerships that support Boehringer’s mission of being first for patients in Eye Health.
