Mark S. Blumenkranz, MD
Mark S. Blumenkranz, MD, MMS, is HJ Smead Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University. He received his undergraduate, graduate degree in biochemical pharmacology, and medical education at Brown University. In 2004 he completed the Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford. He completed his internship in surgery and ophthalmic residency training at Stanford and a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in 1980, where he subsequently served on the faculty for five years.
