Biography
Mala Dutta completed her graduate studies in Immunology and T-cell signaling from the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), NIH, under the NIH-GWU Partnership Program. After brief post-doctoral research, she joined the Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Office (TTIPO) at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), NIH as a Technology Development Specialist. She came on-board the National Eye Institute’s Office of Translational Research as a Presidential Management Fellow and has stayed on since then to now lead the office in its technology development, collaboration, translational and inter-agency initiatives.
