Alice Epitropoulos, MD

Alice Epitropoulos MD, specializes in refractive cataract surgery and has a Dry Eye Center of Excellence. She is founding member of The Eye Center of Columbus, an innovative affiliation of >80 ophthalmologists in Downtown Columbus, and serves as clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State University. Epitropoulos received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing and medical degree both from The Ohio State University. She serves as a member on ASCRS Instrumentation/IOL Subcommittee. She won an award from TechColumbus for the patent that she developed on the EpiGlare tester, launched at AAO 2015. She speaks and teaches nationally and internationally on cataract and refractive surgery and is actively engaged in clinical trials to evaluate new technology. She also serves as a team physician for the Columbus BlueJackets.
