Andre Witkin, MD

Dr. Witkin is the director of clinical research at the New England Eye Center of Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. He has been a principal investigator on 5 clinical trials, authored or co-authored more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, written over a dozen book chapters, co-edited a book on age-related macular degeneration, and has presented at more than a dozen national meetings in the field of ophthalmology. Recently, he was the lead author of an article on a newly identified syndrome called Hemorrhagic Occlusive Retinal Vasculitis, or HORV.
