Biography
Ashley McEvoy is Executive Vice President, Worldwide Chairman, Medical Devices, Johnson & Johnson and a member of the Executive Committee. In her role, Ashley leads the surgery, orthopaedics, interventional solutions and eye health businesses, which generate approximately $27B in revenue. The Medical Device sector employs 70,000 associates across Ethicon, DePuy Synthes, Biosense Webster, and Johnson & Johnson Vision. Ashley is a Credo-based leader who has delivered above-market performance for all four multi-billion-dollar, global companies she has led, and she is particularly adept at designing turnaround strategies for mission critical businesses. She advances diversity and inclusion to enable forward-thinking teams who can deliver results and drive industry change. In her most recent role as Company Group Chairman for Johnson & Johnson Vision, Ashley and her team redefined Johnson & Johnson’s position in Eye Health, one of the largest and most underserved need areas in health care today. Under her leadership, the Vision team consistently delivered above-market growth, and established a robust cadence of product innovation while developing new business models. Ashley’s accomplishments have been recognized by numerous business and philanthropic organizations and she was named a “2012 Working Mother of the Year” by Working Mother Magazine.
