David Bailey

David Bailey has over 30 years of executive experience across major corporations and geographies in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry including seven years as CEO of a USA public company. David began his career at Johnson and Johnson where he spent ten years with the ophthalmic franchise rising to the position of European Franchise Director in 1993. When it was acquired by Chiron Vision, he was instrumental in merging various entities and businesses across Europe into a highly profitable franchise that was then acquired by Bausch + Lomb where he became responsible for Europe and Asia. David then moved to the USA where he became Chairman and CEO of STAAR. In late 2014, he became CEO of Sensimed AG.
