David Zadok, MD

Prof. David Zadok is the Director of the Ophthalmology department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel. He is the former Chairperson of the Israel Ophthalmology Society. He served as the Head of the Israel Cornea Society. Prof. Zadok obtained his MD degree (1991) from Tel Aviv University. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, Israel, a clinical fellowship in Corneal Diseases at UCDS, California, USA. He has co-authored 70 scientific publications including 3 book chapters. He is a member of various national and international ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Asia Cornea Society and Israeli Society of Vision and Eye Research. His current field of work covers the cornea and anterior segment, cataract, and ocular surface eye inflammation and dry eye.
