Dolly Chang, MD, PhD

Dr. Dolly S. Chang is an ophthalmologist, surgeon, and biotech executive with deep expertise in retinal diseases and ophthalmic drug development. She is Chief Scientific Officer at Kodiak Sciences, where she leads pipeline strategy and development of transformative therapies for retinal conditions. Prior to Kodiak, she was Group Medical Director at Genentech, where she led early clinical development programs, contributed to corporate development efforts, and co-led the Digital Health Team.

Dr. Chang earned her M.D. from National Taiwan University and completed her M.P.H., Ph.D., and ophthalmology residency at Johns Hopkins, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at Stanford. She serves as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford’s Byers Eye Institute, where she continues to practice and teach. She is also a scientific advisor for the Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative.
