Douglas D. Koch, MD
Biography
Dr. Koch is professor and the Allen, Mosbacher, and Law Chair in ophthalmology at The Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine. His clinical and research interests are in cataract and refractive surgery. He has authored over 200 articles and book chapters and has given 31 named lectures, including the Kelman, Binkhorst, and Barraquer Lectures at the AAO Annual Meeting; & the Kelman Innovators Lecture at ASCRS; the Binkhorst Medal Lecture at the annual meeting of the ESCRS. He is editor emeritus of the JCRS and past president of the American Ophthalmological Society, ASCRS, and the International Intraocular Implant Club.
