Erin Powers

Erin Schallhorn Powers is the Senior Director for Medical Affairs and Professional Education for Carl Zeiss Meditec’s Ophthalmic Devices business unit. Erin has been in the ophthalmic industry for fifteen years, holding positions at VISX, AMO, and Alcon before joining Zeiss in 2016. In her current role, she established the Global Medical Affairs Organization at Zeiss, responsible for all optometric and ophthalmic medical education and post-approval studies. She is on the Board of Directors with Ophthalmic World Leaders and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the London Business School.
