Jeffrey Marrazzo

Jeffrey D. Marrazzo is co-founder and CEO of Spark Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ONCE), a gene therapy leader developing one-time, life-altering treatments to transform the lives of patients with debilitating diseases. Under Jeff’s leadership, Spark has raised more than $500 million, established a global collaboration with Pfizer in hemophilia B, and advanced its lead program for rare, blinding conditions through a successful Phase 3 clinical trial. Previously, Jeff built and sold the first genetic testing benefit management and pharmacogenomics medicines company to CVS Caremark. A former advisor to Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, Jeff received his BA in economics and BSE in systems science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a dual MBA / MPA from The Wharton School and Harvard University.
