Biography

Jill leads Ophthalmology in Personalized Health Care at Roche-Genentech. She oversees and coordinates all efforts in the development of meaningful data at scale and advanced analytics to bring personalized therapy to patients with eye disease. Prior to taking on this role, Jill was the lead of the Lucentis Port Delivery System for long-acting anti-VEGF delivery, now enrolling its Phase 3 program. Prior to joining Roche-Genentech, Jill spent 20 years in clinical and academic retinal practice. She was an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Jill also held appointments at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the University of Toronto Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. Jill received her medical degree from McMaster University Medical School in Canada and completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto Canada. Jill has fellowships in Medical Retina from Moorfields Eye Hospital/University College London, and Electrophysiology from University of Toronto and University of Ottawa Canada.
