Jonathan Liu, PhD, MBA

Jonathan Liu is Senior Director of Business Development at Topcon Healthcare responsible for corporate venture capital investments. He previously served as Global Director of Product Management for Anterior Segment, Vision Care, and Surgical Planning at Topcon Healthcare and Chief Specialist in the R&D Department at Topcon Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. Jonathan joined Topcon as a Research Scientist at Topcon Advanced Biomedical Imaging Laboratory. His research focused on advanced optical coherence tomography technology and its clinical applications. Jonathan received his PhD and SM in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from National Taiwan University.
