Kenneth Beckman, MD

Dr Beckman is the director of corneal services at Comprehensive EyeCare of Central Ohio and Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at The Ohio State University. He completed his cornea and external disease fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans, La. His specialty interests include cornea and external disease, dry eye disease, cataract surgery, corneal surgery, keratoconus and crosslinking. He has been the principal investigator in many clinical trials involving corneal crosslinking, corneal disease, and dry eye and has published numerous articles in peer review and trade journals on these topics. Dr Beckman was a founder and first president of Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery Society (CEDARS) and serves on the ASCRS Corneal Clinical Committe, along with many other leadership positions.
