Knut Sturmhoefel

Knut joined Novartis and the Ophtha business franchise in 2002 first in Development then in Business Development where among others he has been involved in the collaborations with Genentech and Ophthotech. Since 2014 he is responsible for all business development aspects for Ophtha/ Medical Retina and since 2015 also for Respiratory within Novartis Pharma. Prior to Novartis Knut worked with two biotech companies in the US in project management and R&D. Prior to industry his scientific career was in immuno-oncology at the German Cancer Research Center and the US National Institutes of Health.
