Kristin J. Havranek

Kristin Havranek is a patent attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she focuses on patent prosecution and technology counseling, with expertise in medical devices. She regularly develops intellectual property portfolios with clients, as well as conducts patentability, freedom-to-operate, and patent validity analyses. In addition, Kristin advises start-up clients and investors in connection with due diligence and financing, as well as various aspects of intellectual property licensing. As a Senior Engineer for Guidant prior to law school, she helped develop combination drugdevice products and self-expanding stent platforms. Kristin also developed products for McGhan Medical and worked for Genzyme Biotherapeutics.
