Lucian Del Priore, MD, PhD

Lucian V. Del Priore, MD, PhD is the Robert R. Young Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Yale University School of Medicine, and Chief of Ophthalmology at YNHH. Dr. Del Priore specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of retinal disease. He has published extensively and given numerous invited lectures worldwide on treatment of retinal diseases with stem cells technology. He has been awarded a Senior Honor Award from AAO, a Silver award from ARVO, and is listed within the Castle Connolly Guide to America’s Top Doctors. Dr. Del Priore received his BS in physics from Cooper Union, MD from the University of Rochester, MS/PhD in Physics from Cornell University. He has received an honorary MA from Yale University.
