Luke Düster

Luke Düster is a Principal at Capital Royalty, a healthcare focused investment firm with more than $1 billion of assets under management.

Capital Royalty works directly with leading healthcare companies to offer highly-customized, non-dilutive growth financing solutions to support product commercialization, pipeline development and other growth opportunities . The Fund has an emphasis on credit-oriented investments in approved and commercialized healthcare products and technologies . It invests on a global basis and targets investments between $20 million and $200 million.

Since joining Capital Royalty in 2009, Mr. Düster has led investments in companies such as TriVascular, Tandem Diabetes, Valeritas, Raindance Technologies and others. Prior to joining Capital Royalty, Mr. Düster was a Vice President at Harris Williams & Co., where he provided mergers & acquisitions advisory services to corporations across a broad range of industries.

Mr. Düster received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he graduated summa cum laude, and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
