Sami Abbasi

Sami has spent his entire career in healthcare services, where he has a long track record of leading and founding healthcare organizations that have led meaningful change in their segments. For the past thirty years, he has successfully grown businesses in the physician practice and multi-site healthcare markets. Prior to UVP, he served as the CEO of PhyMed Healthcare Group, a leading provider of anesthesiology practice management services across the U.S. He previously held CEO positions for successful publicly-traded and private equity-backed healthcare providers in the radiology, surgery center and pathology markets. Sami earned his BA, magna cum laude, in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
