Tim de Gavre

Tim de Gavre serves as Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer US at Sandoz Inc. where he is also a member of the Sandoz US Leadership Team. In his role, Tim is responsible for leading Commercial Strategy and Operations for both the Biosimilars and Generics Portfolio.

Tim successfully leads and develops teams and has a track record of delivering strong performance and above market growth. Prior to coming to the US, he was Country Head and General Manager of Sandoz UK where he led a team that grew the UK business by over 60% and profitability by more than 130%. He has worked at Sandoz for 14 years, initially joining as the Global Head of Strategy for Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals, based in Holzkirchen, Germany.

Overall, Tim has 27 years of experience in healthcare, including consulting at McKinsey & Company and working in healthcare venture capital with Frazier Healthcare Ventures. He was the Chair of the British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA) and was the founding Chair of the British Biosimilars Association (BBA).

Tim graduated with Honors from The Wharton School with an MBA in Healthcare Management and cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in European History. He currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
