Wayne Caulder

Wayne Caulder recently joined Bausch + Lomb in July 2025 as Vice President & General Manager, Surgical for the U.S. and Canada. With over 30 years of experience in the eye health industry, Wayne brings deep therapeutic expertise across cataract, refractive, retina, age-related macular degeneration, cornea, dry eye, and glaucoma care.

Before joining Bausch + Lomb, Wayne held several leadership roles, including Head of U.S. Sales for Ophthalmic Devices & Microsurgery at Carl Zeiss Meditec, President of North America and Co-Founder of i-Optics, VP of Sales at VisionCare Ophthalmic Surgery, and Director of Sales at ISTA Pharmaceuticals. His track record includes building strong customer partnerships, scaling regional operations, and driving commercialization of surgical innovations.

In his new role, Wayne is poised to steer Bausch + Lomb’s surgical business into its next growth phase by aligning strategic vision with customer needs across the U.S. and Canada. According to the company, his leadership will support an expanding product portfolio and maintain Bausch + Lomb’s commitment to delivering quality, innovation, and service to surgeons and patients.
