Whitney Hauser, OD, FAAO

Dr. Whitney Hauser is the Director of Clinical Affairs for Keplr Vision. She specializes in implementation of medical services to the group’s 80+ network of practices across the United States. In addition, Dr. Hauser practices clinical care at The Eye Specialty Group in Memphis, Tennessee where she focuses on ocular surface disease and surgical management. Previously, she served as Clinical Director and Research Coordinator at an ophthalmology referral center and as Associate Professor at Southern College of Optometry. While are SCO, she was also the Clinical Development Consultant for TearWell: Advanced Dry Eye Treatment Center. Dr. Hauser has authored many articles focusing on the management and treatment of ocular surface disease, the anterior segment and practice management. She is an invited speaker across the United States and internationally. Dr. Hauser sits on the editorial boards of Optometry Times and Primary Care Optometry News and is a monthly columnist for Optometric Management. She is, also, founder of DryEyeCoach.com and Signal Ophthalmic Consulting (SOC). DryEyeCoach is the leading peer-to-peer education hub for ocular surface disease and SOC designs premier care plans for optometry and ophthalmology practices with an emphasis on dry eye care and cataract/refractive surgery. Dr. Hauser is a founding member of the Intrepid Eye Society, Theia Award winner and named among the Most Influential Women in Optical. Dr. Hauser is also a proud mother of three children and avid health enthusiast.
