OIS XVI - Frequently Asked Questions
OIS XVI is the 16th Annual OIS meeting, bringing together the people shaping the future of ophthalmology for two days of presentations, conversations, networking, and opportunities to connect across the industry.
OIS XVI will take place March 12–13, 2027, in San Diego, California.
OIS brings together a diverse community from across ophthalmology, including:
- 39% Startups & Emerging Growth Companies
- 23% Physicians
- 20% Corporate Strategics
- 18% Finance
OIS XVI features presentations and discussions focused on the companies, technologies, investments, and developments shaping the future of ophthalmology. Just as importantly, OIS creates opportunities to connect directly with the people behind that innovation.
OIS is intentionally designed to be an intimate, highly connected meeting. The size of the event makes it possible to have meaningful conversations with attendees throughout the meeting rather than simply sitting in a large audience.
You’ll hear from leaders across ophthalmology, learn about emerging companies and technologies, and have opportunities to build relationships that continue beyond the event. After 16 years, OIS has also built a strong alumni community, with many attendees returning year after year.
